Where the evidence actually stands.

How to read a State page
Most health writing is published once and never touched again, which means a 2019 article can still be arguing a question that a 2025 trial settled. A State page is the opposite: it is a standing answer to “where does this actually stand right now?” — assembled from every article we have published on the topic and rewritten whenever that set changes.
Each page opens with the strongest current finding, then works down through the supporting and contradicting evidence. Claims carry an evidence grade reflecting how much human data sits behind them — a result from a single small trial is labelled differently from one replicated across multiple randomised controlled trials. Where the honest answer is that nobody knows yet, the page says so rather than filling the gap.
The Updated date on each card is the last time that topic's underlying evidence set changed, not the last time a word was edited. If you want the full archive behind any of these summaries, every source article is linked from the page itself and indexed under all articles and all topics.
